Our new patented (US PATENT #7,740,726) holographic flash silicone skirt strands is another first for GLC Fishing. It is an innovative new design for the saltwater skirted teaser lure, as well as for freshwater lures and jigs. This skirting material is private labeled by Z-Man Fishing Products as the SilaFlash™ Skirt. Z-Man’s SilaFlash™ Skirt is an Easy Hub Skirt incorporating our new patent pending holographic flash silicone skirt strands. This new flashy skirting material consists of metallic/holographic foils and Mylar laminated with silicone or urethane. This new product answers the request of every seasoned offshore fisherman by providing a teaser skirt with the incredible action of silicone rubber combined with the shine and flash of a stiff Mylar stranded skirt. It also appeals to the freshwater fisherman looking for an enhanced shine and flash not offered by any other lure skirt on the market. When sun light hits this skirt it emits a blinding flash like no other skirt on the market. Solid Mylar strands can’t even match the blinding flash of our specially developed metallic and holographic foils. And the new clear and base colored holographic material that we use emits a full spectrum of colors along with that blinding flash. As well as providing flash superior to a Mylar or metallic foil stranded skirt, our holographic flash skirting material offers the life like action and durability of a silicone rubber skirt. Our line of holographic flash silicone skirts have gloss, shine, flash, and action far superior to the nylon, PVC, and rubber stranded teasers on the market today. They offers the same flash as a Mylar or metallic foil stranded skirt, except they have the life like action and durability of a silicone rubber skirt. And when utilized on our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt, it has a perfect umbrella and is easily replaceable on our special saltwater teaser lure head or virtually any freshwater jig head available. For the offshore and freshwater big game fisherman, we make our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt with our holographic flash silicone strand material with 60 to 70 strands in standard 4.5”, 6”, and 8” lengths in special 3M style holographic strands, chrome strands, and metallic colored holographic strands in all of the commonly used skirt colors. For the smaller game freshwater fisherman, we offer our easy on, easy off hub mounted lure skirt with our holographic flash silicone strand material in our standard 70 strand 2.5” model and as a 2 piece easy on, easy off trailer in 3.5” and 4” lengths. Both versions of our holographic flash easy hub skirt are available in rainbow holographic, color tinted and scaled rainbow holographic, chrome, chrome sparkle, and solid and scale patterned colored holographic in over 100 commonly used skirt colors, prints, and patterns.

The holographic flash silicone strand material can also be used on our new easy on, easy off fused band lure skirt, our new CAPPED WRAP skirt, our new BIG EASY skirt, and any standard cut and banded skirt.

Since GLC is also in the custom lure manufacturing business, we decided to develop a line of spinner baits built around our new Holo Flash Easy Hub Skirt. This new lure consists of a universal sized teardrop head with 3D eyes and a skirt hub counterweight system to provide for lure weights ranging from 1/4 oz. to 5/8 oz. Standard models are available in black or white head with silver or gold double willow blades on .035 wire. Our Premium Model comes in a silver, gold, black nickel, or holographic plated head with holographic Colorado/Willow blade configuration on .035 wire. We also make a Big Game version in 1 oz., 1.5 oz., and 2 oz. sizes which employs our Big Game Holo Flash Easy Hub Skirt.

HOLO-SIL BIG EASY SALTWATER TEASER LURES

Our new HOLO-SIL Holographic Flash BIG EASY Teaser combines the HOLO-SIL Skirt with our custom machined chromed brass teaser head, color chromed in standard colors of red chrome, purple chrome, silver chrome, gold chrome, blue chrome, and green chrome; standard sizes available include a 0.8 oz. machined aluminum or a 2.0 oz. machined brass bullet head with a 4.5” Holo-Sil Easy Hub Skirt and a 1.2 oz. machined aluminum or a 3.0 oz. machined brass bullet head with a 6” Holo-Sil Easy Hub Skirt. We also can custom produce an array of machined and die cast brass, zinc, or aluminum bullet and smoker heads in weights ranging from 0.5 oz. up. Our custom metal heads are chromed and can be chrome colored to suit. All of our teasers heads incorporate our “Hoo Hole” countersunk hub hole. This design conveniently allows for the insertion of a Ballyhoo nose into the head to insure a secure fit and when rigged with a belly weight, it assures a superb upright swimming action.

Coming soon, we will offer a weight-adjustable metal head with interchangeable skirt hub shafts to produce weights ranging from 0.8 oz. to 3.0 oz. in a 30 mm head.  This product is targeted to those captains that troll at a variety of speeds ranging from 6 to 10 knots and want optimum surface lure action.
